Frank Collins

Marriage & Family Therapist

Helping couples, individuals, and families navigate life’s challenges with clarity, connection, and confidence.

With a compassionate and practical approach, I help individuals and couples strengthen their relationships, improve communication, and resolve conflicts. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I draw from evidence-based methods, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method techniques, and restorative family therapy to foster deeper emotional bonds and lasting change.

My Approach

Relationships are the foundation of our well-being, yet they often come with struggles—miscommunication, distance, trust issues, and unresolved conflicts. My goal is to create a supportive space where couples, individuals, and families can gain insight into their patterns, develop healthier interactions, and build stronger, more fulfilling relationships.

I integrate:

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) – Helping couples recognize and shift negative cycles, deepening emotional security and connection.

● Gottman Method Techniques – Practical tools for improving communication, managing conflict, and enhancing intimacy.

● Conflict Resolution Strategies – Guiding couples and individuals through healthy, productive conversations that foster understanding rather than division.

● Restorative Family Therapy – Drawing from Boundaries by Dr. Henry Cloud and No Drama Discipline by Dr. Daniel Siegel, I help families foster respect, emotional regulation, and deeper connection while addressing past wounds and creating a path toward healing.

Individual Therapy: Navigating Loss, Anxiety, and Attachment Wounds

In my work with individuals, I take a person-centered approach, integrating insight-oriented work with a trauma-informed systemic lens. I specialize in helping clients navigate:

● Grief and loss

● Anxiety and depression

● Attachment wounds and relational trauma

● Life transitions and self-identity struggles

Through a blend of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and resolution-focused strategies, I help clients gain awareness of how their thoughts, emotions, and relational patterns shape their experiences. Together, we work toward greater emotional resilience, self-acceptance, and meaningful change.

Restorative Family Therapy

Families experience complex relational dynamics, and healing often requires structure, boundaries, and emotional attunement. I work with parents, caregivers, and family members to:

● Establish healthy boundaries (drawing from Boundaries by Dr. Henry Cloud)

● Foster secure attachment and connection (inspired by No Drama Discipline by Dr. Daniel Siegel)

● Navigate interpersonal challenges with grace, accountability, and mutual respect

● Restore relationships that have been impacted by conflict, trauma, or disconnection

Using a systemic and emotionally attuned approach, I help families move toward greater connection, trust, and long-term relational health.

What You Can Expect

Therapy with me is collaborative, engaging, and focused on practical change and personal transformation. Whether working with couples, individuals, or families, my goal is to provide insight, clarity, and actionable steps toward a more fulfilling and free life.

If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s work together to create the change you’re looking for.
